Bodyboard Dimensions

What board is right for my size?


Please do a google image search for "bodyboard size chart". 

Plenty of people out there have charts for height vs. weight vs. board size.


Then be ready to answer the questions below....


Do I know how to measure a bodyboard? (See the picture to the right) All dimensions should be from the very outside of the board. Not the bottom slick or deck edges.


What type of riding do I do? Prone, drop knee or both/ combo?


What type of wave do I ride? warm/ cold? Soft and mushy or heavy barrels?


What type of flex do I like?
What effect does this tail/stringer/mesh etc. do to the performance of the board?

Please read up on the "Board Knowledge" page. I enjoy helping educate people about board design features and performance. The only way you can say something works or doesn't is if you actually try it. It ultimately all comes down to what you like and what feels right to you. That is the board I want to build for you. Do your homework, ride a friend's board that is different that what you would normally ride for reference and ask questions when you need to.
What is your Warranty & Return policy?

Ronin Bodyboards warranties all boards against defective materials for one year from date of purchase. (Unless noted otherwise at time of purchase).

Ronin Bodyboards does not warranty any damage done to the board by misuse, miscare, alteration or modification by the owner.

Creases

Ronin Bodyboards does not warranty Creases. Creases happen in all boards because bodyboards are designed to flex and over time this causes creasing in the deck skin...All boards have a life span. If you care for your board like you would for any other valued possession, it should give you many amazing sessions. Every crease is a memory of an amazing bottom turn you leaned into or that one time you got absolutely pounded.

Returns

Email us at roninbodyboards@gmail.com with the issue. Make sure to send a detailed description of what the problem is and pictures. Ronin Bodyboards will review the info and we reserve the right to make the final determination if the case falls into a warranted claim. If it does, the customer is responsible for returning the board to Ronin Bodyboards. The board will be repaired or replaced and shipped back to the customer by Ronin Bodyboards.

Do you repair boards?


Yes. We will repair a board we made or one made by someone else when possible. Email us at roninbodyboards@gmail.com with what you want to do and pictures. We will get back to you with an answer if it is possible, the cost and time to get it done. 


I want to start a bodyboard brand, will you build boards for my brand?


No. I like to spend my time and energy building my own brand, not yours.


I want to build/repair a bodyboard will you sell me materials?


Most of the time the answer is No. You have no idea what you are getting yourself into.
